I played several shows in Arizona in March of 2007 with Drew Danburry as part of a Mini-Tour of Arizona. Drew and I had some great conversations while driving around that state. They were almost as good as the shows. Here Drew and I are playing at a highschool in the Pinetop/Snowflake, AZ area.

This is a picture of Joe Kendall playing a guitar solo in A Crowd of Small Adventures. Joe managed to rock so hard that night that he actually unhinged space-time.

In 2007, Joe and I started playing with Mike Weller, and A Crowd of Small Adventures. We called our four member group "The Winter Starlight Band," and performed several shows under that name. WSB is a self-proclaimed super-group that plays the songs of Mike Weller, A Crowd of Small Adventures, Jacob Smigel, and *Las Vegas Club*. This live photo rubric is dedicated to two of my songs that we played at the Art Bar in Las Vegas, NV.

Chris of Dreaming of Lions had many shows at his house during 2006. This was one in which Joe and I played with Jack Wilcox of A Crowd of Small Adventures.

Aly, Joe (not pictured), and myself played a show in Providence, RI with John McCauley of Deer Tick in that city's oldest building. 303 years old, and we played on the 4th floor.

Joe, Aly, and myslef eating pizza for the umpteenth time outside ZuZu in Boston, MA where we played with Deertick on Nov. 2nd, 2006.

We played a one off show in Seattle, WA at our friend Beth's House on Sept. 26th, 2006.

Joe and I played two songs at our friends Sammy and Margot's Wedding on Sept. 23rd, 2006, which took place in Oregon at a nice campground in the Silver Falls State Park. We were wedding singers.

LVC and myslef played a last-minute show at a basement in Eugene, OR. It was rumored that Nirvana had played the very same basement years ago. It was an honor...

We played a really well received show in Jamaal's apartment on July 13th, 2006. The old slide projector was busted out.

Las Vegas Club played several shows at the house of Aaron Day in Las Vegas in the Spring of 2006. Here is photo from a show where the lights were left on.

I played a big show at The Smell in Los Angeles with Las Vegas Club, Bobby Birdman, YACHT, The Blow, and others....
There are several pictures from that show below. To really get a sense of what this show (and this trip) was all about you should read the tour diary of Matt Kendall (of Las Vegas Club) which you can download in word formatt by clicking here.

Me playing in *Las Vegas Club* with Joe and Matt Kendall at Denny and Lee's Magic Studio in Las Vegas, NV on January 24th, 2006 with Jaz & the Notes and Thanksgiving.

I played that same night right after LVC then Ally and myself became Adrain's band. It was some of the most fun I have ever had playing live music.

While camping in New Mexico in the Summer of 2005 I recorded some songs on my (then) new Marantz 3-Head tape deck about the place. More specifically, about a little plot of dusty land in at 9000 ft. altitude hidden deep in the Carson National Forest somewhere in Norther New Mexico.

A Show I played in July of 2005 at the Art Bar in Las Vegas, NV with Big Friendly Corporation. Here Ally, Joe, and myself are improvising (kinda... except that this wasn't the first time) a soundtrack to a Heckle and Jeckle cartoon called "Snow Fun" as it was played by a 16 mm projector.

A strange (and foggy) moment from a show at (the now closed) Balcony Lights Music and Books in Las Vegas, NV.

In early 2005 I toured the west coast with My Sexual Dad and Weirdo Begeirdo. We played at a man named McCloud's house, also known as "The Word of Mouth Hotel." My mustache fell off during my second song and then we just drew one on with permanent marker.

It was on the same tour that I took the opportunity to play live on this beach.

This show was played at the recently renovated (and enlarged) Freakin' Frog Beer and Wine Cafe in Las Vegas, NV. It was on November 20th, 2004 and served as the record release show for my 2nd album.

Early in Not Not Fun's history they had a residency at the Ghetto Gloss Gallery in Silverlake, CA.

The very day after the backyard show I was asked to play at another block party. I chose to set up just infront of a rented bounce house. The kids kept bouncing, but what do you expect.

Before there was a Not Not Fun Records Joel and Evan of My Sexual Dad, and Britt and Amanda of Weirdo Begeirdo, along with our friend Currin came out to Las Vegas to play a show in my back yard. When the show I booked at a strange local bar fell through, I had no choice but to raid the dumpsters of a local carpet store (three car-loads), get some DJ lights, a fog machine and put on a big show in my back yard. I remember my yard being filled with my friends and later on really big cockroaches came out and scared them.

This is Seth Barkan and myself playing a "paying" gig at a block party my parent's neighbors threw back in 1999. We chose not to play the prototypes of our original material, but played blues and jazz standards instead. With the $50 we got paid I bought a boxed birthday cake from a local supermarket and took it to an old Arby's restaurant by my home. The Arby's was turning 36 years old the same night that we played. We surprised everyone at the Arby's and then ate some cake.
