My family's old cabin in the Carson National Forest in Northwestern New Mexico. The downstairs is made of adobe, with one wooden-framed room upstairs. The altitude is above 8,000 ft so we burn a fire even in the summer. The fire place is a 55 gallon steel drum lined with brick and the top to an old Chevy air filter for a lid. This photo was taken in the late 90's but it looks much the same today.
The porch is made out of scrap lumber from the local dump and the saw mill. In fact, the whole cabin is made from abandoned things. If it were any nicer, it would quickly be stolen. Notice the old cowtank (rusted to the point that it no longer holds water) and the homemade fences.
My brother Jesse brought his moped there one year. We drove it all through the forest and fields. In this photo it is parked in the apple orchard to cool down.
A polaroid taken in Virginia City, NV. Joe and I were running around filming snow and abandoned houses when I noticed this lonely peak. Don't be surprised if the footage we shot there ends up in a *Las Vegas Club* music video some day soon.
A picture of myself somewhat dressed up for the visit to the historical town frozen in time.
One day in November of 04' my friend Lily and I ditched school and went to Mt. Charleston which is 45 miles outside of Las Vegas and stands 11,918 ft. We rode down the hillsides on garbage can lids, and I somehow hurt my tailbone that day.
A polaroid picture of our galaxy I took from Holland.
This is actually a rope-light being twirled jump rope-wise in the dark in Carson City, NV on the 1st day of 2004.
